Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and PepScan (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, opening the app, or browsing pepscan.ai you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

PepScan is an AI-assisted visualization tool. It takes a photo and a peptide of your choice and generates a stylized projection of what your body or face could look like after a typical effective course of that peptide. The Service is for educational, entertainment, and visualization purposes only.

Nothing in the app, on this website, or in our blog constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare professional. Information about peptides is drawn from publicly-available scientific literature and is general in nature. Individual results vary. Do not start, stop, or modify a regimen based on what you see in the Service. Consult a licensed physician.

Many peptides described in the Service may require a prescription in your jurisdiction, may have significant side effects, and may be illegal to obtain without one. You are responsible for understanding the laws and risks that apply to you.

Transformations are produced by a generative model and are inherently approximations. They are calibrated against the published effectiveness range for each peptide and clipped to the high end of that range so the output reads as aspirational but defensible. They are not predictions, guarantees, or clinical forecasts.

Generated images may occasionally contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or content you find inappropriate. Use the Report flow inside the app to flag any output and we will review it.

• Accounts are created anonymously on first launch. There is no password to remember and no email to verify.
• Each device hosts an independent account. If you reinstall the app, your prior account and its scans are gone.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs on your account.
• You agree not to attempt to access other users’ accounts, scans, or data; not to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service; not to use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate others; and not to upload photos of any person without their consent.

Pepscan AI Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered in two durations: an annual plan and a weekly plan. The subscription includes the app’s scan and Aesthetic Analysis features, with a recurring monthly allowance of one Aesthetic Analysis (refreshed on the first of each calendar month) and a recurring scan allowance. The exact title, duration, and price of each plan are shown inside the app on the paywall, at the point of purchase, before you confirm.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iOS).
• Payment is charged to your App Store account at the confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal at the then-current price. Your account is charged for renewal within twenty-four hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, the platform that processed your purchase. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” flow.
• In addition to the subscription, the Service offers optional one-time in-app purchases: an instant additional scan and an instant additional Aesthetic Analysis. These are consumable purchases — each one grants a single additional generation and is used up when redeemed.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate or share imagery depicting minors.
• Generate or share imagery of any person without their consent.
• Promote, sell, or facilitate the sale of controlled substances.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation.
• Circumvent rate limits, the cache, or any other technical control.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or restrict features in response to violations.

• We own the Service, the PepScan name and logo, the website, and all underlying code, designs, and copy. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
• You retain ownership of the original photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process those photos for the purpose of running the AI generation, storing the result, and providing the Service.
• You may revoke that license at any time by deleting the scan or the account.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without obligation to you. We appreciate the input either way.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. Generated content may be inaccurate. The literature underlying any peptide may evolve. You use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PepScan and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury, or emotional distress, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account from inside the app under Settings → Account → Delete account; doing so removes your profile, all scans, and your auth record permanently.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service with or without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you reside in a jurisdiction whose laws grant you mandatory consumer protections that conflict with the above, those protections apply to the extent required.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

This Section applies when you download Pepscan AI from the Apple App Store and serves as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the app. To the extent it conflicts with the rest of these Terms with respect to the App Store, this Section controls.

• Parties. This EULA is concluded between you and Pepscan AI only, and not with Apple. Pepscan AI, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Scope of license. The license granted to you for the app is a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and only as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• Maintenance and support. Pepscan AI is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the app, as specified in these Terms or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the app.
• Warranty. Pepscan AI is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.
• Product claims. Pepscan AI, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
• Intellectual property.In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of the app infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Pepscan AI, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
• Legal compliance.You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist-supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Developer contact. Direct any questions, complaints, or claims regarding the app to: Pepscan AI, support@pepscan.ai.
• Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
• Third-party beneficiary.You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
